Julian Egan

Principal Physiotherapist

Julian is a Masters qualified Physiotherapist with a special interest in lower back, neck, shoulder and knee pain.

Additionally, he graduated with Honours in his previous degree of Applied Science - Human movement Studies/Ed.

Julian has been working on the Sunshine Coast, more specifically Maroochydore, since 2010.

Additional qualifications Julian has been accredited in are acupuncture, dry needling, spinal manipulation (chiropractic technique), muscle energy techniques (osteopathic technique) and Dean Watson's Headache Institute.

Paul Bounty

Sports Physiotherapist

Paul graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986.
Paul has over 30 years of experience at Caloundra Physiotherapy Centre, starting in 1991.
Paul has an extensive sports physiotherapy resume including:

  • Golf – Golfit Australia golf-specific screening for injury prevention and performance.
  • Tennis – Tennis Australia tournament physiotherapist
  • Basketball – Team Physiotherapist for the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
  • Surf Sports – SLSA surf sports coach.
  • Athletics – Previously the junior development program physiotherapist for Athletics Australia (1988).
Main areas of clinical interest Include:
  • Tendon Pathologies
  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation – especially knees, hips and shoulders
Outside of physio, Paul is a keen surfer, mountain biker & snowboarder, and a pretty average guitarist!

Jake Pizzatti

Physiotherapist

Jake graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and completed his Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through La Trobe University. He believes in using an evidence-based approach and as such has completed numerous courses including: Spinal physio, Dry needling, Pilates and Running technique.

Jake enjoys working with 'everyday people' and assisting them in achieving their physical goals through a balance of 'hands on' and exercise techniques. He is happy to treat any region of the body and has special interest in work and sports related injuries.

Outside of physio Jake keeps an active lifestyle through running, footbal and surfing. Jakes has a good sense of humour, enjoys rock music and spending time with his partner and dog.
